Intense ruby-red colour, with a complex aroma of mature red fruits and black berries from de wood with a light menthol tone and characters of vanilla and chocolate. On the palate this is a concentrated wine with body, with a good level of tannins so that a long conservation in the bottle could be achieved.
| Tasting notes |
| Ripe red and black fruit aromas mingle with leatherand spice, exquisitely balanced by wood notes evoking vanilla and toast. |

Wine Spectator 90 points (Oct 15 2011) Very solid for the vintage, with crushed plum, fig and black current fruit woven with maduro tobacco and bittersweet cocoa. There’s a loam edge on the finish, but this stays solidly fleshy through the end. Drink now
through 2013.—J.M. |
