Selected grapes, representing the finest quality crop are harvested in Faustino estate vineyards in the Rioja Alavesa region. These vineyards were planted between 1970 and 1978.

Aged 12 months in new American oak casks and 6 months in French Allier oak casks from Seguin Moreau.
