Wine Spectator 94 points (Apr 10 2013) Rich and syrupy, with hints of green tea and tobacco accenting apricot, date and dried mango notes that remain broad, spicy and mouthcoating through the long finish. Drink now through 2023.—N.W.

Wine maker notes

The nose is bursting with aromas of vanilla, dried apricots, and cantaloupe which carry through to the palate along with raisined fruit and sweet pumpkin. The high content of residual sugar is balanced by lively acids. Enjoyable on its own or with any number of sweets. Also excellent with foie gras.
