Tasting notes

Colour Moderately deep purplish ruby. Bouquet Exciting nose of ripe red berries, cloves and flowers, revealing aromas of violets, strawberries and plums. Taste Based on fine tannins that are present but delicate, this is a generous and fairly fleshy wine that will deserve a stay in the carafe just before serving.

Food pairing

Serve at 16°C with a veal scallopini topped with mozzarella cheese and a tomatobasil sauce or pan-fried salmon in a ”marchand de vin” sauce.
