Colour: Straw yellow with greenish hues.
Nose: Intense, very complex and characteristic.
The notes of green pepper, tomato leaves and peach are well accompanied by delicate flowery scents and hints of flint leading to a finish with light notes of sage.
Palate: Very harmonious and elegant.
Fruit, acidity and alcohol are well balanced and the aromatic persistence is excellent.

Vineyards:
Location: different vineyards in the Collio area
Altitude: 45 to100 m. above sea level
Exposure: North-west, south-west and south
Soil: The clayey soil of the Collio DOC area results from the disintegration of the stratified marl and sandstone in the subsoil. It is rather marly in the higher areas and has a finer composition at the foothills
Microclimate: Mild temperatures with rainy springs and warm, dry summers
Vine planting system: Double Guyot
Vine planting density: 3500 to 5500 vines per hectare
Age of the the vineyards: 10 to 30 years
Vinification and Ageing:
Manual harvest in 18-kilos cases.
The grapes are destemmed and go through a light, cold maceration.
Alcohol fermentation without skin contact in stainless steel tanks for approx. 10 days at a controlled temperature.
The wine rests on the lees though the winter, then is bottled the following spring.
