Color: Brilliant red purple inked color. Nose: Attractive nose with spices, ripe red and black fruit with light tobacco and chocolate hints. Palate: Juicy and round palate, with a velvety texture, red fruit and spicy flavors aftertaste.

Wine maker notes

Our winemaking philosophy remains very natural and we adhere to minimal intervention through the processes. Canto de Apalta is a red blend that enhances the main characteristics of each grape into a symphony of the components; from Carmenere, its roundness and spicy expression; from Merlot, its red fruit and acidity; from Cabernet Sauvignon, its complexity and elegant structure; and from Syrah, its exuberant and attractive aromas. There is no clarification and a very light filtration, in our quest of creating natural wines and not disturb the natural balance.

36% Carmenere; 31% Merlot; 18% Cabernet Sauvignon and 15% Syrah.

Food pairing

Enjoy now or cellar for a few years. Serve at 16-18°C (60 to 65°F). Ideal companion for meats and elaborate dishes.
