Grown primarily on the island of Sardinia, Vermentino also thrives on Italy’s western coast. Altadonna Vermentino is vinified in stainless steel to preserve the natural characteristics of this variety. Clean mineral notes and ripe aromas of green apple and lime are accented by a mild hint of pepper, giving the wine added dimension. The wine is an excellent accompaniment to full-flavored shellfish or delicately prepared white meats.
